1. APPLICATION

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an automated email acknowledging your application. The hiring manager will review your application and be in contact if they think your skills and experience match those required for the position. In some cases, the hiring manager may do a short phone screening to go through the experience listed on your CV.

2. INTERVIEWS

If you have the qualifications and experience matching the role, you will be invited to an interview. During the interview, we are looking to find out more about your background, work history and what motivated you to apply for the role. We will also provide you with more information about EBOS Group, the business you will be working for, and the position and team.

Your interview will be structured around behavioural based questions that focus on the key requirements of the position. Behavioural based questions ask you to:

  • Introduce the situation or context
  • Describe the task or explain what was expected of you in that situation
  • Tell us the specific actions you took
  • Share the outcome or result of those actions

The interview is also an opportunity for you to ask us questions about our company and your potential new role!

If you progress from the initial interview, you may be invited to more interviews or to a face-to-face interview.

3. ADDITIONAL SELECTION METHODS

If relevant to the role, additional selection methods may be required such as psychometric assessments, work samples, position simulations, and more.

4. PRE-EMPLOYMENT CHECKS

With your permission, the company will conduct pre-employment checks including two reference checks, a Right to Work in Australia check, and any other pre-employment checks deemed necessary(e.g. qualification check, police check, medical assessment).

5. VERBAL OFFER

If you are selected for the position, you will be contacted by the hiring manager who will verbally offer you the job!

6. CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT AND ONBOARDING

Once you have been verbally offered the role, you will be sent a contract of employment electronically. You will need to ensure that you accept your offer and complete all onboarding paperwork before your first day.
